Whilst working on OMM (Agency) we partnered with Nike to launch their new No9 Erling Haaland. This was a project that needed a guerilla marketing strategy. Nike wanted something BIG for their customers to announce their new number 9 which could be launched at any given time.


Concept

Using AR, we wanted to announce a new number 9 for Nike because it involves unconventional, attention-grabbing tactics that are designed to generate buzz and create a sense of excitement around Force9.  We wanted to create a memorable and impactful campaign that will capture the attention of its target audience and generate excitement around the new number 9.


The Problem

The turnaround time for this project was hectic as we didn’t know when this was going live. To create an AR version of Haaland, we needed to capture volumetric asset with his body double in his zen position.

What did we do

We created a location based AR activation of Haaland himself taking over Nike Town London using 8th Wall. We built a microsite to guide the users to the correct location where this AR could be activated.

We also conducted a shoot with Earling Haaland in Oxford Circus infront of NikeTown where he’s showing off him taking over the building.
