The AR Driving Experience

Objective

The core of this program is a Cadillac branded augmented reality app that allows users to express/select their current emotional state, and then places them in the driver’s seat of an actual Cadillac vehicle. Based on this emotional state, they will take a customized road trip in the app built by a group of acclaimed visual designers and musicians that brings about a sense of balance and calm to that emotional state. 

 

Customer Insights & Ideation

I partnered with a project manager to uncover insights and translate concepts into features that address customer behaviours and motivations in the luxury market.

Experience Strategy & Vision

I created frameworks and prototypes to share the vision, design principles and content strategy. This helped to evangelise ideas, gain alignment and drive decision making.

Planning & Scope Definition

I defined the product with my project manager partners. I evangelised customer goals and balanced business goals. I prioritised and negotiated features for launch and beyond with software developers.

Oversight & Coordination

I designed across and collaborated with app designers and their PM partners to translate product features for each platform context.

Design Execution & Validation

I designed only on iOS mobile as this was a prototype. I executed journeys, prototypes and design specs.
